Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument

Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum

Sunday, November 11th

After Sunset

Provincetown ushers in Thanksgiving with the Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument each year on November 11. Perched on the top of High Pole Hill Rd., the largest all-granite building in the country proudly commemorates the landing of the Pilgrims, and on this night, Provincetown lights up 3,100 individual lights, strung from the top of the monument, which continue to shine until January.

While this is NOT a Food & Wine Festival event, we encourage those staying for the long weekend to enjoy in this local tradition.
